We have a pipeline system through which we transport gas from various domestic production basins to other transporters and/or distributors.
We contribute to the expansion of the system with domestic gas from Vaca Muerta. To do this, we constructed gas pipelines in two key points of supply as they are the draft Reversal Pipeline North and the Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales.
The expansion of the transportation system, power to the current capabilities and options of new investment projects private, and also allow you to advance in the realization of the export of domestic gas.

The Pipeline Perito Francisco Pascasio Moreno is a construction that allows it to transport natural gas from Vaca Muerta -the reservoir largest of Argentina - and to expand the transport capacity of domestic gas.
Trace backbone of the pipeline has an area of 573 kilometers between Tratayén (Neuquén) and Salliqueló, Buenos Aires, crossing the provinces of Río Negro and La Pampa with a pipe of 36 inches. This gas pipeline was put into operation by transporting initially a volume of 11 billion cubic meters of gas per day and then, next to the Compressor Plants -driving gas from Tratayén to Salliqueló-reached 21 million cubic meters per day.
However, this transportation capacity has been exceeded, reaching injection peaks of 26 MMm³/day. This gas pipeline allows for an increase in the gas transportation capacity from the Neuquén Basin and delivers it to consumption centers. In this way, Argentina is able to increase the availability of domestic gas for industries, businesses, and households.
It is a project that allows supplying the provinces of Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta, and Jujuy with Argentine gas, replacing the gas imported from Bolivia. Although Vaca Muerta has a large availability of natural gas, there was no pipeline that allowed it to be transported to the Northern gas pipelines.
That is why they built the Pipeline of Federal Integration Tío Pujio-La Carlota, Cordoba province, with spouts of 36-inch diameter, which links the gas Pipeline Central-West with the North and has an extension 122.8 kilometers. That pipeline was put into service on November 4, 2024 along with the first 51 miles of loops between Tío Pujio and Ferreyra, with pipes of 30-inch diameter also in the province of Córdoba. Thus, the ability of a gas transportation system argentine rises, in a first stage, to 15 million cubic meters per day to cater to the provinces of Northern argentina.
The work also involves changing the direction of the gas flow ceases to be imported gas from NORTH to SOUTH to start getting gas from domestic production from SOUTH to NORTH.
The transport capacity of the project Reversal of the Argentine North, you will reach 19 million cubic meters per day at the end of work conditioning in 4 compressor plants existing in the Pipeline North.

It is a product of high pressure of 30 inches in diameter and 80 kilometers of extension that allows you to transfer domestic gas from the backbone system of the South to the Northern system.
The Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales, along with the Plant's Compressor Mercedes, carries up to 15 million cubic metres a day.
So, in the summer allows you to replace liquid fuels imported by domestic gas to generate electricity at the Thermal power Plants of Santa Fe and north of Buenos Aires. It also allows you to meet the residential demand.
This is possible on the basis of the commissioning of the gas Pipeline Perito Moreno, its compressor plants and the expansion of the Loop of Ordoqui in the system of TGS.
Launched in December 2024, adds 6 million cubic meters of gas per day to the Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales

The GIJA is a duct that connects Argentina and Bolivia, and has an extension of about 48 kilometres, of which 35 are located in Argentina and the other in bolivia.
The duct has a transport capacity of up to 27 billion cubic meters of natural gas per day. This pipeline has the potential to be used to export gas to argentina to Brazil, through Bolivia.
